What color eyeshadow brings out blue eyes?

I have blue eyes and plan to wear a blue blouse...what color eye shadow can bring out my eyes? What color eyeshadow brings out blue eyes?
If you want to really make your eyes pop, you go with the complementary color ... the complementary color to blue is orange. Here is the color wheel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RYB_color_m鈥?/a> Now orange eyeshadow may sound scary, but think of copper - it is a orangy brown. If you get a metallic copper, your eyes will be insanely blue! I have a few from NYX and also Amber Lights from MAC. You can also go with a warm matte brown, a peachy pink or a goldy colored. What color eyeshadow brings out blue eyes?
Stick with tans/sandy brown shades, brown liners. I also use navy blue eyeliner and mascara sometimes to really make my eyes stand out (ocean blue). Bare Escenuals Beach Glimmers are really nice!!
gold
Try some Light browns, and really Light Pinks!

Hope I helped! XoXo -- L

blue eyes- brown

brown eyes -blue
lilacs and light browns trust me !!!
I can see the lilac, because it's a cool color, like the blouse and your eyes, but I'd stay away from the brown, unless your hair is medium blond or light brown. Having a single warm color in an ensemble of cool colors can emphasize a single point, your eyes, and draw attention away from your entire ';look';. I'd actually recommend a blue shade, depending on your complexion, but lilac or something green might be good to provide a little bit of variety without violating the cool color look you seem to be going for.
Blue eyes...browns and other colors that are similar...
silvers and gray if you're going to wear blue
I use a very light brown for my eyes. I think it looks very pretty.
you should use a lime green it brings out your eyes

What's the best color eyeshadow i should wear?

My eyes are blue and I wear alot of brown. Ive been experamenting and there arent many colors that either look good or make my eyes pop. What's the best color eyeshadow i should wear?
I would say that you probably will look good in blue eyeshadow and maybe some under your eye. What's the best color eyeshadow i should wear?
umm either a smoke grey or a light blue
It's pretty much best to stay with neutrals, from a sable for the darker part you want, to a taupe and blush type of colour for highlighting the browbone.
Brown definetely makes blue eyes pop. Though I have blue eyes too and one of my favorite combinations for eyeshadow is a dark chocolate color for the lid, a darkish gold for my crease, and a lighter gold for my brow bone. Finish off with brown eyeliner and mascara that is a few shades darker than the lid color and it really makes my eyes stand out.
BLUE. TEAL. BROWNS, NOT LIGHT ONES. JUST EXPERIMENT. BY THE WAY, I HAVE BLUE EYES TOO. ALMAY SELLS AN EYESHADOW KIT FOR BLUE EYED GALS, YOU KNOW. YOU COULD ALSO GO TO A MAKE-UP COUNTER AND ASK THE GIRLS FOR ANY IDEAS. GOOD LUCK.
You wanna try diffa shades of purple, gold, peach, blue itselff will still look nice, even try sum grey for a stronger look. All of these will look nice. But judge the shade on ur skin tone. If ur pale, dont go for dark colours.

for blue eyes the best eyeshadows are: rich warm browns, warm taupes and soft peaches. DO NOT where blue eyeshadow, whatever you do, that just looks bad with blue eyes! trust me.
MAC Black Tied. Its a shimmery black, that would look hot with your blue eyes.
Here are some good colors that brig out blue eyes

go to http://www.marketamerica.com/yourcyberma鈥?/a> select motives and scroll down to eye shadows

Motives Eye Shadow Palette (Ol' Blue Eyes) - Single Custom Eye Shadow Palette (5 Shades .25 oz./7 g)

$35.00

take the guesswork out of identifying colors that will look good on you. Motives Pressed Eye Shadow Paletes are designed to enhance your eye color. Apply each shade alone or layer to deepen and customize color. Motives Green Eyed Envy enhances and illuminates hazel green eyes, while Motives Ol' Blue Eyes is for blue eyes and Motives Brown Eyed Girl is for brown eyes.
Silver makes blue eyes shine. Purple (dark and light) always looks great.
i went to lancome and they suggested a palette they sell with a light taupe, gold and bronze. it took me a little while to switch to these colors but they really do bring out the blues!
If you want to get away from brown, a deep pink will make the blue POP. It is the opposite on the color wheel.

What color eyeshadow looks best with light blue eyes?

As far as earthtones go, do lighter or darker color eyeshadows better compliment light blue eyes and fair skin?

Does skin color matter when choosing an eye shadow color?

If so, what about light blue eyes and tan skin?

What do you think about unnatural colors like blues, pinks and and purples?

Also, what about white for eyeshadow?

I really need the advice! Thanks so much in advance!!What color eyeshadow looks best with light blue eyes?
There's a cool site where you can try on different makeup colors and styles on your own photo. taaz.com You can also try on hairstyles and colors. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!What color eyeshadow looks best with light blue eyes?
I always think dark warm browns look great with blue eyes, but also navy blue and dark purples. If you have tan skin then maybe golds. Definitley not black, it will appear really harsh against you light eyes. White can look good on some people, but on most it looks best just below your eyebrow and in the inside of the corners of your eyes.
Tried and True Colors for Blue Eyes ~~~ Taupe, Grays, Violet, Purples, Deep Blue (Use a darker shade than your eye color to make your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)

My Funky Favorites ~~~ Silver, Turquoise, Fuschia (brightens any shade of blue).

Try a Navy or a Charcoal base to define Your Eyes and a Powder Bblue shadow at your Brow for highlighting~~~it brightens your brow bone so ANY eye color pops.
I think if eyeshadow is put on correctly it will look good on any skin tone or eye color. I think gold would really compliment light blue eyes and tan skin.

I have light blue eyes and the best eyeshadow is brown. It hightlights your eyes. You never want to use the same color eyeshadow as your eye but the total opposite. so Brown is great! Hope this helps.
I go with black.. its all smoky and sexy. And it makes your eyes stand out.
purple, light brown, light grey and black.
i would say go with black.

What color eyeshadow would go best with me?

I have dark brown eyes, medium/fair asian skin tone, %26amp; dark dark brown/black hair. I use MAC make up only so if you could please name what color eyeshadows would best go with my dark brown eyes. I want something that will bring out my eyes more and it would be nice if you could tell me in which ways I should apply it; ex: blending two colors, one on top of another, or the half and half blend, etc. Including links on how best to apply it would help too :D.What color eyeshadow would go best with me?
greens (but stay away from forest green), golds, neutral browns, true purple, lavender, navy will look fabWhat color eyeshadow would go best with me?
use a brush to apply a light blue or brown to bring out your eyes
Probably a soft green, purple, pink, maybe some dark browns.
When using MAC, there are no right or wrong colors. I have brown eyes with fair skin, and use their Beijing shapestick on eyelid, Honey Lust eyeshadow over shapestick, Vanilla eyeshadow on brow bone. For the crease I use the Antiqued eyeshadow. It's more of a summer, bronze kind of combo.

In the fall and winter I like to use in place of the Antiqued (still with the Beijing shapestick, Honey Lust %26amp; Vanilla), the Star Violet eyeshadow in the crease, and Sketch eyeshadow over the Star Violet just to give it a deeper color.

I love the Plastique, ';O'; and Amorous lipsticks as well, and they go with all the eyeshadows.

But MAC is great, and you can go there and have them put some colors together for you. Have you tried that yet? That would be your best choice for a really individualized look.

I think I should apply for a job there, just kidding.
Green, pink or both. Sorry, I can't tell you how to apply it. Good luck.
brown
Best colors for brown eyes, COOL coloring:

1] greens - swimming, humid

2] blues - bang on blue, blue storm

3] purples - beautiful iris, satellite dreams

4] grays - cumulus, cloudburst

5] accent colors

a] white - vanilla

b] pink - beauty sleep

c] silver - silver ring

Always use powder or pencil because cream eye shadow is difficult to keep from smearing on the creaseless eye.

Use primer or powder on eye area before applying colors.

Best tips for application to the Asian eye are pretty sparse online; suggest copying application of Celebs - Lucy Lui, Lisa Ling, Joan Chen, etc.

Ask for some different ideas at the MAC counter, including shadow, liner, and mascara techniques [ make an appt., so you have plenty of time ].

Decide before appt if you are a Cool:

soft white, pinks, cherry red, coral, lemon, mint, jade, forest green, sky, royal, navy, lavender, plum, gray, black, and silver jewelry [ all have blue undertones ], OR

a Warm:

ivory, tomato red, peach, orange, rust, golden yellow, lime, kelly, olive, aqua, turquoise, teal, purple, caramel, coffee brown, and gold jewelry. [ all have golden undertones ]

What color eyeshadow looks good with brown eyes?

I have brown eyes. What color eyeshadow looks good with brown eyes?
pink (light) , not green! uglyWhat color eyeshadow looks good with brown eyes?
kk, well i use purples and blues. browns just make ur whole eye look like mud. so what i do is a few things really.

okay

some days i use blue eyeliner. i will put all along my lash line and a little bit past it to get the cat eye, and then a little bit of blue eyeliner halfway acros my bottem lash line UNDER the lash line, and blend it., but i dont dso it thick. i always get compliments on how the brown stands out. oh and i also put a lot of BLACK mascara one to open the eye.

then some days i do the same thing except in black.

then on more natural days i just use a light purple eyeshadow and a little bit of mascara:))

have fun:)
Any color except colors with grey in them. For some reason, grey tones make you look tired. This means blue eyeshadow doesn't really work, but navy blue eyeliner close to the lash line totally does! In fact, it looks awesome.
I would say stay with the natural colors...wear lighter colors...try a Lavender a light green even...some brown eye have a bit of green in them and then it'll pick it up and look like you are wearing colored contacts or something. golds are nice too though
Any earth tones look nice...I have brown eyes also.

Browns, golds, purple, green, etc. I'm not fond of blues and silver/grey doesn't look great, but sometimes works with an outfit.
Most shades of purple and deep blues will best complement the brown in your eyes.
Usually earthy colors work best. Go with neutrals, and greens, and they'll make your eyes pop.

  • What color eyeshadow should I wear to a funeral?

I am going to wear gray dress pants and a black blouse..what color eyeshadow should I use? What color eyeshadow should I wear to a funeral?
neutral colors. maybe browns and creams... you don't want to attract to much attention to yourself in a funeral. What color eyeshadow should I wear to a funeral?
Muted colors, matte finishes, nothing bright, neutrals would be fine, and definitely nothing over the top. Anything to glitzy and glamorous can seem a little inappropriate. I'd personally go for a grey smokey eye and nude lips. Good luck!
If ur gonna cry ur make-up is gonna get messed up but if u dont care (i love wearing makeup)like me then i suggest wearing white eyeshadow. put kind of a lot on..well make it stand out and it looks beautiful. i wear it.
Greyish Brown, or Creams or a very LIGHT black.

You don't want to have BLACK BLACK lids. It's a neutral look. Keep it as little as possible.

If you can be without it, then it's best to just not put any on.
Try shading with different browns. Go darkest right along the lashes and get lighter as you move up. Brown is a neutral colour so it wont bring to much attention, but your eyes will still pop, and look great.
Black/gray and maybe a maroon combo. A nice burgundy would be pretty. No glittery eyeshadows, though... at least that's what I'd stay away from. Perhaps a cream based eyeshadow...
Don't wear eyeshadow! It would seem disrespectful. If you MUST, then no colours. Stick to a brown/cream combo, or plain black. Don't put too much.
Stay natural. You're not supposed to look like your wearing makeup to a funeral. Funnels are sad...
Funeral is something sad. Dont do it.
Why wear makeup to a funeral... You cry and it gets all messed up...
    none

What color eyeshadow should I wear with a purple sparkly dress?

I have tan skin, light brown hair, and brown eyes. I'm wearing this dress to a college winter formal. What color eyeshadow should I wear with a purple sparkly dress?
i wouldnt match my shadow to my dress. i would definatly do a smokey sultry eye. light lips. heres a template that you could follow.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/lo鈥?/a>What color eyeshadow should I wear with a purple sparkly dress?
If it were me, I'd wear grey or green tones to bring out my eyes and contrast nicey with with your purple dress.
    a shimmery gray
Dark gray or medium gray highlighted by very light gray/white would look terrific. Purple shadow will likely clash with your dress. If you are going to overstate your fabric, understate your makeup, but DO use lip liner to define and enhance your lips. Best of Luck!
a light lilac shade with a deep plum shade on the outer corner...and a hint of brown/black eyeliner..try a cream to powder eyesahdow..like loreal...hope that helped..a purple shade will bring out ur tan
wear a very very light shade of green, as it compliments tanned skin tones and the colour purple. If you don't like green, wear an icy blue eyeshadow, as it will go well with your dress. have a nice time at your formal xox
    purple
    Blue always works.
I'd go for the smokey eye look, with eyeliner and sorta charcoal grey. If you didn't like that, you could go for green. I think either one would look good =)
there is this trio eyeshadow made by Almay and it's for brown eyes...its cream, brown and purple...it looks really nice and would look wonderful with your dress!
    same color as the dress
    purple
I'm surprised people think your eyeshadow should match your dress... I would wear a lighter shade, like white or silver (soften it so it doesn't stand out too much).
I say grey. I do NOT say purple. Your makeup shouldn't always match your outfit. Your dress sounds pretty flashy so I think if you were wearing purple and purple it would be too much.
    purple would be great!
    Definatly light blue!
I would say purple or grey.
    charcoal grey?
dark navy blue, and purple highlights. that would be pretty!
i would wear a neutral color. make it look natural!!
Something in a shade of grey. You want something kind of quiet if your dress is sparkly.
    smokey grey shadow
    A shade of dark purple.
A blueish purplish color, because it looks HOT!!!!!!!!!!
You could wear purple, but along the crease make it a lighter color.
I think gray, with a shimmer to it. I don't think you should add another shade of purple because it's such a strong color that can be easily overdone.
Wear a charcoal color - go with smokey eyes if it's for a night on the town.
I think with tan skin and brown eyes you should use a coppery gold shade. That would look great on you. Don't do purple eyeshadow. I hate when people match their makeup with their clothes...ghetto. These are some shadows I recommend. These are all MAC shadows:

    Amber Lights(peachy brown w/golden shimmer)

    Rice Paper(peachy golden shade)

    Mythology(crowning copper)

    Tempting(rich coco)

    Hope this helps
Either a dark blue if your skintone is dark, or perhaps a nice white/silver. If you're using white/silver make sure not to over do it. Very LIGHTLY!
a very subtle light shade of purple
I would definitely go easy on the makeup since the dress seems to be the focal point. I agree with the gray's and maybe even a light green (very subtle). It sounds like you are young so you can get away with a more daring look with makeup but if you go that route go easy on the hair. You want to look naturally beautiful, not like a clown. Try maybe a charcoal around the eyes only and a little white shimmer below the brow. Light lipstick, lots of mascara and a bit of blush. Have fun!!
