What kind of eyeshadow color for a Redhead?

Okay.. I have really fair skin and I cant get a tan what so ever. And whenever i put on my makeup my family keeps telling me that the eyeshadow isnt the right color because i wear blue eyeshadow. What color of eyeshadow would look good on a redhead with very fair skin?What kind of eyeshadow color for a Redhead?
brown because it is subtle and look nice on fair skin and won't contrast with your red hair too much so it won't look over the top.What kind of eyeshadow color for a Redhead?
It really all depends on your eye color because that's what eyeshadow is for, to make your eyes stand out but don't get me wrong hair color is pretty important too as well as skin color.
