this is my everyday makeup process (:
1. Apply a mid-tone taupe (brown-gray color) like MAC Eye Shadow in Omega or MAC Eye Shadow in Patina to the eyelid. Build the intensity of the taupe shadow until your lids appear slightly darker than your normal skin tone.
2. Apply a medium brown shadow like MAC Eye Shadow in Cork lightly in the crease to contour.
3. Apply a shimmery gold shadow like MAC Eye Shadow in Ricepaper under the eyes from inner corner to outer corner.
4. Apply black liquid liner like Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink to the top lashline, winging the liner out just slightly at the outer edges of eyes.
5. Apply a dark brown pencil like MAC Technakohl Liner in Brownborder to the lower waterline of the eyes. To increase the drama, use black pencil.
6. Apply a lengthening and volumizing black mascara to both the top and bottom lashes, making sure to get the tiny inner and outer lashes. A trick to applying mascara to the lower lashes is to place a small piece of kleenex or toilet paper underneath the bottom lashes and apply mascara to the lashes over that.
Purple is a great shade for brown eyes. I like combining a shimmery brown-gold color (as the color for my entire lid) and then applying a deeper shimmery purple (like e.l.f.'s mineral eyeshadow in ';royal';) to my mid to outer corner. The combo is a soft and romantic look, and the colors really make my dark brown eyes have some depth and demention to them. Just be sure to line your eyes with black liner and follow with black mascara.
You can even line your eyes with a deep plum liner or use a plum mascara.
Blue also enhances brown eyes, but I'm not a huge fan of wearing blues. The only blue I will wear is a midnight blue (a deeper tone, almost black). Or I will line my eyes with a dark blue liner, which can really make a big difference.
Light purple from the middle of your eyelid to the inner part of your eyelid then put a dark purple on the outer part of your eyelid and your crease. Blend some black eyeshadow into the dark purple eyeshadow. put a line of medium tone purple eyeshadow on your lower lash line, this will make your eyes stand out.

Blue eye liner, only on the outer corner. And on the lower lash line. Cover girl lash exact in blue is a good mascara to use. But it also depends on your hair color. Green looks good with red hair, blue looks good with brown hair, shimmery golds and pigments with blond hair.

i have veryy dark brown eyes, i usually use a deep purple, lightly on my eyelids, and more in the crease
light purple ive tried, because it is supposed to be good for brown eyes, but it doesnt look as nice on dark brown eyes i think .
Greens and purples work well with dark brown eyes.
A light lilac or a soft baby blue would be pretty :] .
