What color eyeshadow goes good with a kind of bright red lipstick?

Nothing dramatic- a natural sheer or slightly shimmery color will keep it from looking too clownish and will keep focus on the lips. What color eyeshadow goes good with a kind of bright red lipstick?
Well, Depends how your wearing it. I would go with more of a natural color

A VERY light, natural tan, or golden, that's almost an eyelid color. When emphasizing lips, don't emphasize eyes and vice versa
personally i think that a natural shade is best with a bright red. if you play up your eyes and your lips, you kinda look like a clown. i wouldn't do anything to dramatic if you can help it...unless you too are living in the 80s ;)
White..Stick to more neatral light colors or black eyeliner, black mascara,a LITTLE black shadow..so basically neutral colors or black
My boyfriend is living in the 80's (lol) and sometimes i'll wear blue eyeshadow to go with my bright red lipstick and blonde hair. Other times I wear flashy browns or greens because it brings out the ';Doe'; look of my hazel eyes. Sephora carries a brand called Urban Decay and many may look really well.. It also depends on the skin tone/eye color/hair color to pull it all together.
Soft, toned-down colors. The lip color is dominant; so you want to soften everything else.
I think a smokey gray. Any color (greens, blues, violets) would be clownish. And I don't like to mix cool tones (red) with earth tones (browns, peach, copper, etc.), so the only thing left is grays / charcoals. Classic.
shimmery plain colors notthing to flashy
use smokey grey or just line the top lid in a black liquid eyeliner-from a cometologist
