What color eyeshadow would work best for me?

I like dark colors mainly. and im not what you would call rich, so don't tell me to go buy these expensive stuff. but I have light eyebrows and green eyes, if that helps any. What color eyeshadow would work best for me?
I think maybe a brown would work well. Brown works for everbody pretty much. I wouldn't recament warm colors other then that though. What color eyeshadow would work best for me?
Brown makes my green eyes red looking. Maybelline and Cover Girl are priced within reason. I use a light shadow on lids and brows and the dark always goes on outside corner and brow bone and line with black. Very pretty!
light browns and mauves and purple make green eyes pop. try using maybelline, revlon,or almay. almay had certain types of eyeshadows for each kind of eye color check it out. they also have skin products for each skin type and they are not overly priced
Almay intense eye color make up is really great. I have brown eyes and they gave me the ';brown color'; eye shadow with three different colors and purple eye liner and brown mascara and it really suits my eyes. They have many selections for different eye colors. Each retails for $5 or so, which is kind of pricey, but you don't have to buy all of them, I would focus mainly on the shadow. Good Luck!
My rule of thumb is to go with the color of outfit you are wearing.

Blue undertones = Cool colors

Such as an outfit containing blue, green, pink, purple.

Yellow undertones = Warm colors

Such as an outfit containing yellow, orange, red.

Neutral undertones = Neutral colors

Such as an outfit containing black, white, tan, grey.

For Cool outfits, use a light color as a base...like a very light pink or beige. Use a dark shade (similar to the color of shirt you are wearing, but darker) to go in the ';crease'; of the eye. Blend the edges of the dark color lightly, so that there are no ';hard edges';.

For Warm outfits, use a light color, like a light golden tan...and a darker shade of gold or even ';burgandy'; for the ';crease area';. Blend the dark color into the light color.

Neutral colored outfits, use eye shadows such as a light ';beige'; color as a ';base';, used all over the eye, then use a darker shade of brown in the ';crease'; of the eye Then blend the dark color lightly with a small brush motion.

----------Go to marykay.com to check out more application tips! There is an interactive guide to applying eye colors...and it can be very helpful.

You don't have to buy expensive makeup to look good, but it does help to have the expertise of a personal beauty consultant, like Mary Kay offers. Plus, if you get the right Mary Kay representive, she will offer you a free makeover. Take advantage of this! Plus, if you do buy something from her, you have a 100 percent guarantee...and she will trade it for another color if you change your mind. I'd like to see Walmart or Walgreens offer that!!!

My ';dark shades'; from Mary Kay last 4 to 5 years....and my ';light shades'; last 1 to 2 years. It's a smart buy, even if it's a little more expensive.
Try in the middle in your dark colors. Not 2 dark not 2 light but in the middle and what ever u choose is what u choose.
Golds, pinks, and browns would work well on you. Experiment to find the perfect shade or try a 4-color pallette from covergirl. It makes it easy to mix and match or blend colors.
i think, that since you have green eyes, you might want to use a shimmery green to bring out your eyes.
Choosing Eye Makeup Colors

i have dark hair and bright green eyes and dark purple eyeshadow or just purple eyeliner(cheap) with some bronzes really make my eyes pop...also try dark blue eyeshadows and eyeliners and i never buy the expensive stuff
to make your eyes ';pop'; try dark colors but i think black but dont make it really really DARK if you know what i mean
Purple eyeshadows look nice on green eyes - theres lots of inexpensive brands at the drugstore or wal-mart. Try loreal, covergirl or mabelline. If you like dark colours, go with a deep purple shadow and a smoky grey or black eyeliner and mascara.
